I came here, reluctantly, since my dental plan recommended this dentist and it was convenient in that it is located in Fresno making it easy for when I visit. I went in with my partner and we were both treated kindly and respectfully. The staff was incredibly friendly and seemingly knowledgeable and even educated me a little about dental insurance coverage and what the differences and benefits are of each kind. The dentist himself was nice, although not very talkative or particularly warm (I was looking for a good dentist, not a good friend or therapist so it's fine). I was given the initial run-through (x-rays, consultation, recommendations. ) and decided on starting the process with a deep cleaning which I knew I needed. I am set to return for another appointment soon. but so far so good.

The only reason this dental facility is getting two stars instead of of one is because the staff are friendly and the facility looks nice.

I was unsatisfied with the level of service at Bright White Dental and decided to try another dentist so my family and I went to several different dentists over the course of the next three years never really satisfied with the Dentists or the hygienist.

When I was young my parents to me to a dentist that would always find several cavities and I never thought I had a single cavity because I never felt any pain.

When I was finally old enough I had my dental records transferred to another dentist office and asked if he could look at my old X-rays. He informed me that most of the fillings did not need to be done because there were no signs of cavities. Since then I have found it very difficult to trust anyone in the dental field.

I and my family have since returned to Bright White Dental and I guess they are the best of the five or so dentists we have used. The hygienist is thorough and I'm sure will get better as she gains more experience. As another reviewer stated the dentist just walks in after the cleaning, takes a quick glance at the X-rays, a quick glance in your mouth, and says see you in six months.

The dentist at Bright White Dental did have to install a partial cap last year and when I stated that it felt like it was putting too much pressure against the other teeth and to file it down, he said I would get used to it. I told him I would then do it myself when I got home. When I returned six months later he asked if the other teeth had shifted to make room for the partial crown I told him to take a look. He then realized I had filed it down myself and said it seemed to fit better now.

Dentists are like everything else. If you ever find a good one stick with him or her. Me, I am still looking but so far Bright White seems to be the best of the worst and they are open on Sundays.

I do have to commend his niece that works with him. She is great at taking X-rays without gagging you, and she does seem to know where everything is and has everything ready for any procedure before the dentist comes into the room. I also never miss an appointment as she sends out postcard reminder a few days prior to the appointment and sends text alerts the day before.
