I came here, reluctantly, since my dental plan recommended this dentist and it was convenient in that it is located in Fresno making it easy for when I visit. I went in with my partner and we were both treated kindly and respectfully. The staff was incredibly friendly and seemingly knowledgeable and even educated me a little about dental insurance coverage and what the differences and benefits are of each kind. The dentist himself was nice, although not very talkative or particularly warm (I was looking for a good dentist, not a good friend or therapist so it's fine). I was given the initial run-through (x-rays, consultation, recommendations. ) and decided on starting the process with a deep cleaning which I knew I needed. I am set to return for another appointment soon. but so far so good.

The only reason this dental facility is getting two stars instead of of one is because the staff are friendly and the facility looks nice.

Dr. Wong is awesome. I've been coming to him for over 5 years now and I've never had a bad experience here.

Judy runs the front desk and is the nicest lady out there. She treats you like a friend instead of a client. I've randomly called in before to schedule an appt and she recognized me by the sound of my voice! To me, that screams customer service. She also does a courtesy call the day before your appt in addition to the reminder card that gets mailed out a few weeks beforehand, which is perfect for people who are always on the go or have terrible memory.

Dr. Wong and Joel (his dental assistant) are both very friendly and gentle when it comes to working on your teeth. Joel always offers the use of their headphones and radio while you're sitting in the chair, which is good for people who don't like to just lay there while they are getting their teeth cleaned. They're always very mindful of the comfort of their clients. At my last dentist, water would always pool in the back of my mouth from when they were rinsing off my teeth after polishing them which would make me feel like I'm going to choke or drown but here they are very mindful to suck up all the water and not to accidentally splash your face.

The Wongs always make the whole dental visit process quick and efficient. They have a good magazine selection in the waiting area but honestly I've never had an opportunity to even look at them as they usually call me in within 2 minutes of walking in the door. It actually makes me kind of sad because I wanna do a throwback to my childhood and do the "find the hidden objects" page in Highlights. haha

Also for Kathleen V's review, I'm pretty sure she's reviewing the wrong dentist as there is no female dentist here. MJ's review also seems suspicious as he did another review the same day for a dentist that he claims to have gone to for the past 8 years and loves. If you already have a dentist that you know and love, why would you go anywhere else? I call yelp troll.
