I have received many e-mails asking what these products are and where they can be purchased. Hopefully, the above information will be helpful to those not familiar with these products. In my opinion, buttercream made with brite white and hi-ratio shortening is a delicious icing that compliments your cake and will award you many compliments.

Where can I find Brite White icing base.

Hi. I'm a total newbie to cake decorating. Apparently there isn't a cake supply store nearby so I'm forced to search online for some ingredients. I want to try a new icing recipe. It calls for some things I can't find locally anywhere.

Have personally tried both the Snow White and Brite White icing bases. If you can get it, the Brite White is so much better. (Brite White is like hi-ratio, while Snow White is like Crisco in relative performance.)

And to answer your question. I haven't been able to find a single online source for all three products.

TBK Angel White Buttercream Icing Base

Angel White Buttercream Icing Base produces a bright white and very light buttercream icing. It will whip up to a fluffy, smooth and snow-white consistency. It will produce an icing like bakeries use. 3 pound tub.

1-1/2 Pounds of TBK Angel White Buttercream Icing Base

3 Pounds Powdered Sugar

1-1/2 Pounds of TBK High Ratio Icing Shortening

1/2 Cup Water (Variable)

1 Tablespoon Clear Butter Flavor

1 Tablespoon Clear Vanilla

Mix ingredients together in an electric stand mixer for 8-12 minutes at the highest speed setting.
