I have owned a Brite box for over 8 years now. I really love it and can't imagine not having it. I live in deer country and the extra lighting really can make the difference between having a damaged vehicle or driving home safely. I have traded in my truck (Ford) and changed my brite box to the next truck. Fortunately the new truck used the same model.

The difference is very noticable and it is one of the best upgrades I have made. I have read the other review and cannot speak for anyone other than myself however, I have never had an issue with blown headlight bulbs. For that matter I cannot remember ever having to replace a bulb yet. When I first bought it, I made the mistake of buying the high dollar (extra bright) Silver Star headlights, they got very hot so I took them out as the Brite Box with standard headlight bulbs was much brighter than the Silver Stars with no Bright Box. The instructions say to use standard headlight bulbs and I understand why. (I just couldn't help myself and had to try it) I have a friend who has had one on his Dodge pickup for 2 years now and he too is very happy with his.

The Brite Box very simply turns on both your high and low beams together. On most vehicles one can pull back on the dimmer switch and experience what this is like however, if this is done for any length of time without the Bright Box it will burn up the wiring harness. The Brite Box makes this possible without that concern.

The safety factor alone make this a very worth while purchase, and very easy to recommend. I feel that you won't be disapointed.

All vehicle headlights have two distinct beam patterns: Low Beam for close range illumination, and High Beam for long range illumination. In most vehicles, when the high beams are activated, the low beams shut off.
