I ordered 3 trees on February 28, 2012: one Washington Navel, one Meyer Lemon, and one Thornless Key Lime. Their follow-up was excellent.

Anna sent an invoice to me and when I didn't fill it out right away as I was on a trip she sent a follow-up email asking me if I still wanted to order. I ordered the three trees which were promptly send to me.

Anna is good about the tracking too. Email notifications are sent letting you know where the item or items is or if it's on its way which is very very helpful.

I would definitely buy from Briteleaf again. In fact when a grapefruit and Dream Navel orange tree are available I plan to submit another order from them.

Brite Leaf Citrus Nursery is located in Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, located about 1 hour north of Tampa. We are a family owned and operated containerized citrus nursery. Our primary customer is the commercial grove owner. We have been selling to commercial growers since 1998, and have been involved in the citrus industry for many years prior to starting our nursery.

We are involved in many aspects of the citrus industry, have a long-standing love and respect for the industry, and are active in citrus associations to help improve and promote Florida citrus. We are members of the FNGLA (Florida Nursery Growers and Landscape Association), Florida Citrus Mutual and the PRVCGA (Peace River Valley Citrus Growers Association).

We recognized that many homeowners like to have fresh fruit in their own yards, so we began selling to homeowners and garden centers in 2000. Because we also sell our young citrus trees to commercial growers, they are of top quality. We pride ourselves on supplying high quality citrus trees with the right rootstock to insure a hardy tree and hand-budded with the right variety to produce great fruit.

We expanded our citrus tree sales to mail order in 2002, as well as adding several exotic citrus tree varieties.

Due to many requests for fertilizer and other products to care for trees, we are now proudly offering Sunniland and Espoma products. Check out the new products.

We personally answer your questions concerning your order, our trees, or your trees that are already at home. Although not as quick as an interactive site, we think you'll appreciate our personalized service and you can have comfort knowing that the actual citrus tree grower is answering your questions.

Nursery Hours

8 am 12 pm and 1 p m to 4:30 pm

We are not a retail nursery, so do not have open visitation hours. We are not staffed to accommodate drop in visits. Please call before coming to pickup an order. Due to the diseases that affect citrus trees, we don't let visitors inside the greenhouses to select your own trees. We appreciate your respect of our rules to protect our livelihood.
