Britesmile Aftercare: Maintaining Whitening Effects
To help maintain the whitening effects of your Britesmile teeth whitening treatment, your dentist may advise you to avoid certain foods and beverages, or to consume them in moderation, to avoid staining your teeth. This may include tea, coffee, red wine, cola, etc.
Tobacco products will stain teeth, even after whitening treatments. As such, your dentist will suggest you quit using them. Maintain an appropriate oral hygiene (teeth brushing and flossing) regimen to prevent stains from reforming, and see your dentist and hygienist regularly for scheduled teeth cleanings.
Toothpastes containing whitening agents also may be suggested by your dentist to maintain the results of the procedure.

The cost of Britesmile teeth whitening varies depending on your unique considerations and the location in which you undergo treatment. If you undergo whitening at a Britesmile center, the average cost is approximately $600. If you elect to pay in advance, the average Britesmile whitening cost drops to $399. Keep in mind that dental insurance does not typically cover the costs associated with elective, cosmetic treatment.
Although treatment time varies, most Britesmile whitening patients experience approximately one hour of chair time.

I ordered the trial online on Sunday, January 31, 2010. I never received an e-mail confirmation with a customer service number. I never received the trial product. So I called to cancel the order on February 15, 2010. They could not pull up my order by the order number or by my name? Odd, huh? They said they needed the first 4 and last four numbers of my credit card?
I told the lady she should be able to pull it up by the order number. It's the number they assigned to me. She could not. Then she asked for my Social Security number? That's when I said goodbye.
I did receive my trial on February 19, 2010 with no customer service number and no letter on how to use or how to cancel my order. My credit card has been charged $87.47 for a full product. I only just received a trial-sized product, and I did not receive it until well after the trial period. I never received a full-size product, but my card was charged for a full product on February 16. I've had to cancel my credit card and dispute the charges.

I am disappointed in the product. Maybe it's me but I didn't really notice any change in the appearance of my teeth having used the product.
after using this is sometimes a noticeable change and whiter teeth if they are but you have to use it frequently

Customer Feedback
As with most products, you’ll find good reviews as well as negative and such is the case with BriteSmile. While some customers claimed they were extremely pleased with the results they achieved with BriteSmile, others found they got very little results and had totally wasted their money.
One major problem that some users experienced was tenderness in the gums. While they said the pain was not unbearable, their gums turned an unattractive shade of gray. They were not pleased with this effect at all.
Other complaints customers have had is that instead of the whitening lasting for years like advertised, it began to fade after a couple days and they did not wish to go through the entire process again so quickly and deal with sore and discolored gums. Even though BriteSmile does have many happy customers, you need to be aware that if your teeth are discolored from years of coffee stains or smoking, BriteSmile may not work.

Looks good, but 12 hours of excrutiating pain. This hurt worse than my root canal, broken risk, and even shoulder surgery. Just random shooting pain all over for 12 hours.
